TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

GOD is the great GOD of all the worlds. GOD is the GOD of heaven, earth, the lower world and all other worlds and also of all the various creatures. One who strongly accepts this fact and acknowledges only GOD as everything, that creature gets the affinity with GOD. As soon as this happens, he is freed from all his sins. His accumulated and complete sins are destroyed.

It is the principle that one who considers GOD as his everything and accepts the shelter of GOD, becomes free from sin. GOD never delays in letting anyone free from sins who comes in His shelter. We should accept GOD as the owner of the whole creation and also the owner of our senses, mind and intellect. If we do so, then it becomes the responsibility of GOD to act for the benefit of His dependent and GOD does so immediately.

The one who becomes of GOD and who is accepted by GOD, then sin cannot remain in that creature. Living with the world, the creature can never be free from sins because the world is the root cause of sins. As he attains the contiguity of GOD, the grace of the GOD is showered upon the creature and he becomes free from his accumulated sins forever. GOD can only be known through devotion and by devotion only we can build a relationship of affinity with GOD.

Therefore, the creatures should visualize GOD as the creator, handler and controller of the world. When we see GOD as the owner of the world and as our owner and accept Him as the same, then our salvation starts to happen automatically.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

One who knows the forms of GOD and visualizes and experiences the grandeur of GOD in them and knows the supernatural power and eternal capability of GOD, that creature gets engaged in the devotion of GOD. Such a creature gets firmly devoted to GOD, which implies that there remains nothing important to him except GOD. That creature does not have any attraction of anyone other than GOD in life.

It is the principle that when a creature learns about the grandeur of GOD, then he undertakes the devotion of GOD. After understanding the grandeur of GOD, there is no other purpose left in the life of the creature other than undertaking the devotion of GOD by accepting His shelter. When the creature realizes that there is no other power except GOD in the universe, and whatever supernatural we see is all the nature of GOD then the creature accepts GOD as his everything and gets engaged in the devotion of GOD.

After knowing the immense power and the eternal capability of GOD, the creature is convinced that all the powers of the world are originated from GOD and that the universe is controlled by the capability of GOD. Then the sight of that creature does not go anywhere except GOD. He is not at all interested in anyone other than GOD. He exclusively undertakes the devotion of GOD and accepts the shelter of GOD. By doing so he blesses himself because we have got this human life only for this purpose.

Therefore, the creature must try to know GOD and should attach a devotional relationship with GOD. The one who understands GOD, his mind gets distracted from the world and gets concentrated in GOD and the devotion of GOD becomes the only aim of his life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

Those who keep reverence in GOD and love GOD, GOD has called them as wise. The world considers those as wise who earns money, earn fame but GOD considers those wise who hold complete reverence in GOD, selflessly loves GOD and undertakes intense devotion of GOD. We have got this human life for undertaking devotion of GOD, so that we may attain GOD in human life and get rid of the journey to the world forever.

The true intelligent is the one who uses his life only to fulfill the purpose of this human life. GOD is the essence of all and it is wise to take the shelter of the devotion of GOD by displaying reverence and love for GOD. Secondly, GOD says in this verse that such intelligent devotees of the GOD constantly worship GOD. Worship means chanting and singing the name of GOD, contemplating the form of GOD, listening to the narration of GOD and reading the Holy Scriptures like Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran, Shrimad Bhagavad Geetaji, Shri RamCharitManasji and others.

The third thing that the GOD tells in this verse is that the wise devotees of GOD always live in the shelter of GOD. We should always remain in the shelter of GOD. The surrender to GOD is of great importance because GOD takes over the full responsibility of the surrendered devotee and that the surrendered devotee can live his life smoothly without fear. The biggest success of life is that it should be completely surrendered to GOD.

Therefore, the creatures should keep complete reverence in GOD, should selflessly love GOD, should undertake intense devotion of GOD and completely surrender to GOD.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
  1. Having complete reverence, selflessly loving GOD, undertaking intense devotion and surrendering completely to GOD must be the purpose of human life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

We should concentrate our mind on GOD. The principle is that where there is dearness, affinity and affection our mind will be engaged only there. Therefore dearness, affinity and affection must be there only for GOD. In our mind, only this feeling should be there that I only belong to GOD and only and only GOD is mine. The second thing that GOD says is that we should offer our lives to GOD. Our life and all the activities of our whole life should be for GOD. Whatever activities we do, it should be for GOD.

GOD further says that such devotees who keep their mind permanently engrossed in GOD and dedicate their lives to GOD they only know the virtues and capability of GOD. GOD only reveals His mysteries to His devotees. Only the devotees of GOD are able to know GOD. GOD says that whenever such devotees whose interest is in GOD meets they discuss about GOD with each other. They discuss with each other about the secrets, virtues, influence, nature of GOD and they have a fascinating Satsang (Holy discourse) among themselves.

One fact is for understanding here that whether our contact is with the people of the world with whom we take interest in the discussion of the world or our contact is with the devotee with whom we are satisfied and happy in discussing about GOD only. We should spend our life in listening to the discussion of GOD and in discussing about GOD, only then our steady devotion and ever-increasing love for GOD will grow gradually.

Even while living in the world, if we can dedicate our mind to GOD, undertake devotion of GOD and love GOD then only we will get bliss and satisfaction in life, else not.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

The only work of devotees is to keep their mind always engrossed in GOD. Apart from this, they do not have any other work. Therefore, all the work and all responsibility of those devotees are borne by GOD. Therefore, GOD reveals His knowledge, His influence, His virtues, His Divine pastimes and His secret to those devotees, so that the devotee is able to know GOD. Because the devotee only considers GOD as his own and offers his life for GOD, therefore GOD awakens his wisdom so that he can know GOD. GOD does not allow his intellect to wander anywhere and does not allow it to get entangled in the world.

GOD upholds the responsibility that there should be no deficiency in the devotee and there should be completeness in him. Therefore, GOD clearly says that the one who lovingly serve GOD and undertakes the devotion of GOD, GOD awakens his wisdom and introduces Himself to him. It is the principle that only that person can know GOD whom GOD wants him to be known. If GOD wants then only anyone can know GOD, otherwise knowing GOD is not possible for anyone.

GOD reveals Himself to His devotee only and gives His feeling to His devotee. By knowing GOD and experiencing GOD, that devotee walks steadfastly on the devotional path and in the end, by attaining GOD, he fulfills the sole purpose of his human life. Here one should acknowledge the principle that our work is to serve GOD, to love GOD and to undertake devotion of GOD. The next task is that of GOD that GOD reveals His secrets to the creature and takes the creature up to His attainment.

Therefore, we must continue to serve GOD and undertake devotion of GOD in life, so that one-day GOD opens His doors to us and we attain GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

Devotees do not have to try differently for enlightenment. GOD blesses His devotees with special mercy and awakens knowledge in their heart and removes the darkness within them. Devotees do not have to earn knowledge. Devotion automatically transmits the knowledge within the devotee. GOD does not let any kind of deficiency remain in His devotees. GOD graces His devotees and removes the darkness of ignorance forever.

Gyanyog is the worldly mean and devotion is the supernatural mean. In the supernatural, the worldly mean comes automatically but in worldly mean the supernatural never comes. The wise can be devoid of devotion but the devotee is never devoid of knowledge. As an example, Shri Gopis did not get associated with knowledge within their life but because of devotion, extraordinary knowledge automatically came to them due to the mercy of GOD. When a wise person like Shri Uddhavji went to teach them knowledge, he found himself incapable of doing so.

In the devotee, GOD communicates knowledge. Therefore the devotee is knowledgeable. The biggest knowledge is knowledge of knowing GOD, of recognizing GOD. When we succeed in knowing GOD and in recognizing Him, then nothing remains to be known in the world. Therefore, the knowledge of the devotee is the biggest knowledge. The wise also tries to know GOD but whether he can succeed in this venture or not, there is doubt in it. But the devotee surely gets success in knowing GOD by the grace of GOD.

GOD only reveals Himself to His devotee. Therefore, it is the principle that the true knowledge of GOD only lies with the devotee.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Shri Arjunji said the above words to GOD.

Seeing the nature of compassion for the devotees, Shri Arjunji's special emotion was awakened for GOD and submerged in emotion he recited one after other many salutations for GOD. In this verse, Shri Arjunji used many salutations for GOD, and in the earlier verse also, Shri Arjunji used some salutations for GOD, which are very heart-touching. GOD is the Supreme Soul. GOD is supreme dwelling. GOD is ultimately Holy. GOD is eternal. GOD is the Divine entity. GOD is the basic Deity. GOD is unborn. GOD is omnipresent, that is, GOD is present everywhere.

GOD is the supreme personality. GOD is the Creator of all creatures only through His resolution, therefore, GOD is the origin of all. GOD is the master of all creatures and Deities because He owns them. GOD is the Deity of all the Deities. GOD is the cause of the universe and it is He who creates, operates and destroys the universe. GOD is called Jagatpati (GOD of the universe) due to the reason that He nurtures the whole universe. Due to being the best among the entire existence, Shri Vedji has called GOD as Purushottam (the very best) in all the worlds.

After the address, the second thing that Shri Arjunji says is that GOD Himself only knows Himself. It means that the known is also GOD and the knower is also GOD. Except GOD, no one can ever know GOD if he tries to do so. Only GOD is the knower of GOD. Human beings and any creature of this world, even the Deities do not even know GOD. GOD is so grand and infinite that knowing GOD is not possible for anyone. Only GOD Himself can know His almighty power and His all capabilities.

Shri Arjunji is a great devotee of GOD and his address to GOD here is very heart-touching and emotional.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

The grandeur of GOD is endless, infinite and immense. It is not possible for anyone to understand the greatness of GOD and His grandeur. The senses of the creatures are limited and there is no limit to the grandeur of GOD. Therefore, it is impossible to understand the grandeur of GOD with the limited senses of the creature. In this tenth chapter, Shri Arjunji has expressed his desire to know about the various Vibhuti (powers) of GOD. In this verse, the Vibhuti word is the symbol of the grandeur of GOD by which GOD controls the whole universe.

GOD knows that no creature can understand the expansion of the grandeur of GOD. Therefore, GOD has just described some of His major grandeur at the request of Shri Arjunji. When Shri Arjunji asked GOD to describe His Vibhuti in full detail, then GOD immediately said that I will very briefly summarize my Vibhuti. The reason for this is that GOD knows that there is no end to His Vibhuti so it is not possible even for GOD to fully describe His powers.

The grandeur of GOD is infinite. Therefore, no one can say or hear the expansion of the Vibhuti of GOD. The thing that one can fully listen to and can completely narrate to someone cannot be said as infinite. The grandeur of GOD is infinite, so GOD says that He will narrate them in a nutshell. It is worth noting here that when GOD cannot think to completely describe His own grandeur, then there is no capacity in any of the Holy text, Scriptures, sages and saints, that they can do so.

GOD's grandeur is so vast and infinite that it is not possible for us to imagine even a fraction of it.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

GOD is in the beginning, middle and end of every creature. This implies that there is nothing other than GOD. It means that everything that is visible to us is all GOD. This verse is important because in it GOD has given His permanent address as the heart of the creature. GOD is stationed in the heart of every creature. The creature is active only as long as GOD dwells in his heart.

By understanding the true meaning of this verse, the feeling of a wonderful brotherhood for all creatures is awakened in our hearts and all the differences of different species, religions, sects and creeds are removed. When we begin to believe that GOD who is stationed within us is also stationed in the heart of another creature, then all hatred, jealousy and conflict are removed. GOD is equally situated in the heart of all living beings, such teachings are found in the Holy Scriptures of all religions.

Here in Shrimad Bhagavad Geetaji, GOD, Himself has said this in His divine voice, as a declaration that GOD has one dwelling in the heart of all creatures. In this way the abode of GOD is also in His supreme dwelling and yet He is not far away from us because He has one dwelling in our heart also, so He is nearest to us. In view of this fact, we should establish our very true and most beloved relationship through devotion with GOD. GOD is closest to us, therefore our closest relationship should be only and only with GOD. But we make the mistake of not understanding this closest relationship with our GOD.

From this verse, two things should be understood that GOD is present in all and therefore we should keep a spirit of brotherhood with all and GOD is present in us, therefore our closest relationship should be with GOD only.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
  1. GOD is stationed within us, therefore GOD is closest to us and we should, in turn, have the closest relationship with GOD only.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

GOD describes His eighty-two Vibhuti (powers) from the twentieth verse to the thirty-ninth verse of the tenth chapter. Even if a nominal amount of every Vibhuti is described for namesake from the innumerable Vibhuti of GOD, then too even if thousands of births are spent, it will not be possible to describe even a bit of the Vibhuti. But in the answer to a question of Shri Arjunji, that where do I contemplate GOD, GOD has briefly summarized some of His most important Vibhuti and explained to contemplate GOD in them. As the attention goes on to different Vibhuti narrated by GOD in Shrimad Bhagavad Geetaji, the contemplation of GOD must automatically happen.

All the attributes of all the Vibhuti of GOD belong to GOD and come from GOD. Therefore, whenever every Vibhuti of GOD is remembered, our remembrance should only go towards GOD. This tenth chapter is primarily an episode of devotion because after briefly describing His Vibhuti and while telling the essence of all the Vibhuti in the thirty-nine verse, GOD has said that the root cause of everything is GOD. The fundamental element of this is that wherever our senses, mind and intellect go, we must only visualize the form of GOD. Because GOD has said that there is nothing except Him, that is, everything is GOD. The essence of this chapter is that there should be contemplation of GOD in every object, event and circumstance.

The reason behind describing His own Vibhuti by GOD is that the creature must contemplate GOD for his salvation because in all forms there is only GOD. There is no end to the divine Vibhuti of GOD because GOD is infinite, therefore His powers, qualities, divine pastimes, etc., are also infinite. Therefore there is no end to the expansion of Vibhuti of GOD. We can count the number of atoms in the world, even if it seems impossible but the Vibhuti of GOD who created the millions of universes can never be counted. GOD is infinite, eternal and unfathomable. Telling His own Vibhuti is indeed very short and for the namesake, because there is no end to the Vibhuti of GOD.

All the Vibhuti means that there is nothing other than GOD and in all forms, there is only one GOD. Knowing the Vibhuti and grandeur of GOD, we should undertake devotion of GOD by surrendering to GOD. Wherever we see anything special in the world, considering it as the attribute of GOD, we should see the form of GOD in it. It means that the object, the person in which the attribute has been visible, we should not be attracted to that but that attraction should be for GOD, this is the gist of this tenth chapter.

If we see any grandeur, grace, beauty, power, specialty, singularity or merit in any living and non-living object, person, event, circumstance, quality, emotion, action we must see it by attaching it to GOD. Wherever the attribute is seen we should contemplate GOD. If we see anything except GOD there, then it leads to our downfall because if this happens then the vow of our exclusive emotions for GOD is dissolved. The basis of everyone is GOD, therefore only the glimpse of GOD should be seen everywhere.

The attribute that we see everywhere should be considered to be of GOD. Wherever there is any attribute seen in anyone, we should consider it to be of GOD. In order to explain this fact, GOD has described many different types of His Vibhuti in a very brief way. The effect of understanding the Vibhuti of GOD is that our devotion for GOD becomes firm. GOD is there in all the Vibhuti, this statement of GOD is meant to have a focus on GOD because everything is only GOD.

Attributes, singularity in the world comes from GOD only. The part gets the same thing which is in the whole. Therefore, the attributes, beauty, capability and singularity that we see in the world, everything belongs to GOD and when we see this in the world, we begin to see GOD everywhere. Wherever whatever attributes we see, it is of GOD and by understanding so a Yog (connection) with GOD is established. Therefore this tenth chapter has been named as VibhutiYog. GOD is everywhere, this is the message of this chapter.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Here the preliminary description of the great Vishwaroop (universal form) of GOD is there.

There were many faces in the great Vishwaroop of GOD, many types of divine ornaments, and it was visually equipped with various types of divine weapons. Shri Arjunji saw many faces of GOD. Some were fierce with fury, some were benign with beauty to defeat the mind. Surprisingly, Shri Arjunji began to see many kinds of visions of the Vishwaroop.

In the great form of GOD many forms, many figures were seen. In the vast Vishwaroop, Shri Arjunji saw everything that he could not even imagine. GOD was equipped with divine ornaments in all divine organs of His body. GOD was with a fragrant aroma, whose divine fragrance was spreading in all directions. Seeing the beauty of the makeup of GOD, Shri Arjunji was absolutely amazed. Shri Arjunji looked outside, then everything was Vishwaroop, and then when he closed his eyes, even then the same Vishwaroop appeared inside.

In this verse, "many" word is repeated again and again which states that there was no limit of mouths, eyes, hands and other Divine organs in the great Vishwaroop which Shri Arjunji was viewing with the divine eyes provided by GOD. GOD showed that He exists in trillions and trillions of universes at the same time but by the grace of GOD, Shri Arjunji saw everything in a single place only. The divine and great Vishwaroop of GOD was so amazing and immense that it could not be even imagined. The great Vishwaroop of GOD was infinitely brilliant and was rife everywhere.

The grandeur of GOD is so infinite, which the creatures does not even have the capacity to imagine, yet GOD is so kind that even though GOD has such grandeur, He is available all the time for everyone.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The above description is during the time of visualization of the great Vishwaroop (universal form) of GOD.

The great Vishwaroop of GOD was so illuminating that the splendor of trillions and trillions of GOD Shri SuryaNarayanji (Sun), when collected at one place then too its analogy, cannot be given. The splendor of trillions and trillions of GOD Shri SuryaNarayanji (Sun) also cannot come close to the splendor of GOD because GOD Shri SuryaNarayanji (Sun) also gets His splendor from GOD. Shri Arjunji viewed different types of worlds in one place inside GOD in the Vishwaroop. Shri Arjunji was very surprised and by viewing the slightest majesty of GOD, his body was fascinated by the happiness like a devotee. The head of Shri Arjunji bowed after viewing the great Vishwaroop of his owner GOD and he stood by joining hands in the salutation posture.

Due to adventure, the wave of pleasure began to rise in the heart of Shri Arjunji, and the whole body was trembling from his head to his feet by thrill. It was so because he saw the whole world including its entire departments in the great Vishwaroop of GOD directly at one place. He saw that in a part of GOD the entire expansion of the world is contained. Even if the universe is infinite it is still situated in one part of GOD.

The great Vishwaroop of GOD was beyond the imagination of Shri Arjunji, so he was very much surprised by seeing the form of GOD. By His grace, GOD has preached the spiritual knowledge to Shri Arjunji and now showed His extraordinary great Vishwaroop by showering even more grace, and by receiving such grace, Shri Arjunji was thrilled. Like a devotee, Shri Arjunji dedicated himself to GOD and by joining hands he bowed his head to GOD and started singing the glorification of GOD.

GOD is so massive and full of grandeur than too He is available for us in short form therefore while visualizing His short form we must never forget the massive and grandeur-filled form of GOD.
