TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Shri Arjunji said the above words to GOD.

Shri Arjunji says that he is not able to decide anything related to his religious duty from his intellect. GOD is his spiritual master and he has full faith and complete reverence in His preach and order. Shri Arjunji is trapped in a crisis and he wants the decision from GOD of what to do. GOD always knows about our welfare and only He can tell such thing by which our welfare becomes certain.

How much Shri Arjunji believes in GOD, this is rendered from the fact that he rejected the fully equipped GOD’s Narayani army and accepted the weapon-free GOD and Duryodhan left GOD and accepted His fully equipped Narayani army. Shri Arjunji was aware that the one who is under the shelter of GOD, is never misguided and always lives in peace and fearlessness. Therefore, Shri Arjunji brings himself into the role of a disciple of GOD because he knows that his welfare lies in taking the teachings of GOD. Shri Arjunji takes the shelter of GOD and leaves the responsibility of his welfare on GOD.

It is the principle that the one who takes the shelter of GOD does not have any kind of fear, no matter in how much adversity he is in. GOD has to undertake the welfare of those who take His shelter because this is GOD’s vow. Shri Arjunji asks GOD to tell him the thing which is best for him. Shri Arjunji has done the best work by becoming the disciple of GOD and by taking the shelter of GOD, because, in the crisis, GOD is our only protector. Due to the excessive affection in the heart of GOD for devotees, His grace increases and He will remove the grief of Shri Arjunji naturally by His grace. If Shri Arjunji did not become inquisitive then it was not possible to give the divine preach of Shrimad GeetaMaa for the welfare of creatures of Kaliyug (modern era) by making Shri Arjunji as a sake.

By considering GOD as the supreme master, we should accept the words and orders of GOD available in scriptures as a disciple. Along with this, we must always remain in the shelter of GOD, then only our welfare is possible.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

All other species other than humans are enjoyment species. GOD has graced us and gave us this extraordinary human body and intellect by which we can attain absolution. Human life is significant in doing so only. We have got this human life only for attaining absolution and not for enjoying the pleasures only. The man trapped in enjoyment and accumulation cannot proceed towards GOD. The biggest obstacle in our welfare is the desire to enjoy the pleasures and the desire of accumulation.

The one who has the only aim of enjoying pleasure and accumulation wastes his human life. We have got this human life only with the goal of achieving GOD, therefore, to get indulged in destructible pleasure and accumulation is animal intellect. Those who are engaged in worldly enjoyment and accumulation possess demonic instincts. Ravana also enjoyed pleasures and earned wealth but did not undertake devotion and did not generate love towards GOD. After taking human birth we must ensure that our good intellect does not like anything other than GOD.

The firm determination of love and devotion towards GOD should be within us. The desire of enjoying worldly pleasures and habit of accumulation makes us equivalent to animals whereas the desire of love and devotion towards GOD makes us equivalent to a human. Physical enjoyment and accumulation can give temporary happiness and the devotion and love of GOD give us supernatural ecstasy. It is disgust for the true devotee to enjoy pleasure as is disgust for us watching a pig sitting in the drain. Physical enjoyment and accumulation lead us towards the cycle of birth and death, whereas the devotion of GOD leads us towards the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. Once after reaching the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, the creature lives in Sachchidanand form with GOD.

We have not got this human life for enjoyment or accumulation but we have got it to rise above these and attain ecstasy, peace and place in the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD by love and devotion towards GOD. Therefore our aim must be to attain GOD and should not be to enjoy the pleasures and undertake accumulation.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

GOD holds the responsibility to bear the “Yogkshem” of His sheltered devotee in the form of vow in Shrimad GeetaMaa. Attaining the unattained thing is known as “Yog” and protecting the attained thing is known as “Kshem”. After coming into this world the creature works to attain the unattained thing and tries lifelong to protect the attained things. While doing so he is so much trapped in this worldly cycle that he never thinks about GOD and he is deprived of spiritual progress.

In the twenty-second verse of the ninth chapter of Shrimad GeetaMaa, GOD takes the vow to bear the Yogkshem of His sheltered devotee. We should undertake the devotion of GOD and by devotion, we should take the shelter of GOD. We should even not expect Yogkshem from GOD. The direct meaning of this is that we should undertake selfless devotion. Those who undertake selfless devotion and become devoted to GOD, their Yogkshem is automatically borne by GOD.

A newborn baby does not expect anything from his mother that mother feeds him with milk or dresses him and raise him. Because that newborn is just born now, therefore his willpower has not yet been awakened. But even after the selflessness of the newborn, his mother does everything because of love and affection for him. We should also become selfless like a newborn and should keep the faith that GOD will bear all our worries. Our work is to contemplate GOD and the work of GOD is to bear our concern. In the distress, the doors of the world will always be found closed but the door of GOD will always be found open. It is GOD's vow that GOD never ever lets His devotees suffer due to undesirable things. There is great kindness for the devotees in the heart of GOD. GOD never forgets to bless His devotees.

Therefore without expecting even Yogkshem from GOD, we should love and undertake devotion of GOD selflessly.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

We should perform the deeds only for GOD. We must perform deeds so as GOD may be pleased with us. Whatever deeds are performed by us we should dedicate them to GOD. As we dedicate the deed to GOD it becomes complete and we are also set free from the bondage of deed. Deeds done with some desires are the ones that trap us in the cycle of birth and death. Therefore the deeds must be selfless and should be for GOD. The person who considers himself as a slave of GOD undertakes devotion and leaves all the deeds except devotion. Performing the deed of devotion is the best way for the creature.

The man should put all his strength to undertake devotion, then only his life can be successful. But the unfortunate creature does not employ his human power in the devotion of GOD. Our relationship with the world is mortal, only our relationship with GOD is eternal. But we live in the world and perform deeds for the world. We should undertake to work for GOD while staying in the world. After getting birth as a human there is no bigger deed to be undertaken other than devotion. Devotion is the deed that frees us forever from the cycle of birth and death. Man is bounded by his actions. Devotion is the only deed by which man does not get bounded but becomes free.

After wandering in 8.4 million species and bearing the deeds when GOD blesses and gives the human birth to the creature then we should utilize that birth. We should not perform any such deed in that human birth which again leads us to wander in 8.4 million species. We should perform such deeds that we should be able to reach the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD forever. Devotion is the only deed by which it is possible. Therefore all the scriptures and masters have rendered devotion to be ultimately suited for this human life.

Devotion should be made the sole purpose of human life because there is no bigger deed in the world other than devotion.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

Devotees also perform deeds while staying in this physical world but they are not bound with the bondage of deeds. It is possible because of two reasons. Firstly, devotees perform deeds with selfless feelings. By doing so they get the fruit of their deeds but such deeds do not bring bondage for them. Secondly, whatever deed a devotee performs, he offers it to GOD. By doing so, he becomes free from the bondage of deeds forever. The principle is that if we perform deeds with selflessness and sacrifice them by offering to GOD, then that deed cannot bind us. By doing so, the devotee, who is engaged in devotion, keeps himself free from the fruits and bondage of deeds of this material world.

If there is no deed bondage, the devotee is detached from the cycle of birth and death forever. We have to take rebirth to bear the deeds we have performed in our past. But if the deeds performed by us are not binding on us then we do not need to be born again. Therefore the creature undertaking devotion is capable of escaping from the cycle of birth and death. By the grace of GOD, he becomes free from the cycle of birth and death and reaches the dwelling of GOD, from where he never has to fall again.

If a creature performs virtuous deeds then he achieves heaven, where after the enjoyment of it, he has to fall again into the mortal world. But the creature who undertakes the devotion of GOD achieves the dwelling of GOD, from where he never falls again. The one who reaches the dwelling of GOD becomes of GOD and always resides in the contiguity of GOD.

Therefore the creature should perform all his worldly deeds selflessly and must dedicate it to GOD so that he never gets trapped in the bondage of deeds. At the same time, he should undertake selfless devotion of GOD so that he becomes free from the cycle of birth and death and becomes eligible to go to the dwelling of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

In this verse, GOD has given the parable of a tortoise which is very dear to me. Our five senses and mind pull us towards the world. Illusion affects our senses and mind and diverts the creatures from GOD by attracting them towards the world. In this way, the creature who has come with the aim to attain GOD goes astray. In the above verse, GOD has explained with the parable of the tortoise how to control the senses and mind and turn them towards GOD.

When a tortoise walks, his six organs are visible. Among those six visible organs, there are four legs, one tail and one head. But when that tortoise feels any danger, he hides his six organs. All his six organs are hidden and only his back is visible which is so adamant that it can bear any hit. GOD says that in this same manner the seeker should distract his five senses and one mind in total six things from the subjects and should concentrate them on GOD.

When there is the danger of illusion and the illusion is about to affect us then we should wrap our five senses and mind and remove them from the subjects. It is the nature of our senses and mind that they want any subject else they will be focused elsewhere. Therefore the best recourse is to focus our senses and mind on GOD and engage them in the service of GOD. When we engage our senses and mind in service of GOD then this process is known as devotion. Doing so is a part of devotion.

Therefore, the creature must divert his senses and mind from the world and should engage them in GOD, then only his human life will become successful.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

The world's pleasure is destructible and does not last long but the indestructible pleasure in the companionship of GOD never diminishes and remains unchanged as it is. But as long as worldly pleasures remain intact, the supernatural pleasure of GOD will not appear in life. Before a creature is born in the world, in the womb of his mother, he prays to GOD to relieve him from the suffering of the womb and send him to the world where he will worship GOD. GOD graces him and gives him birth in this world. The creature forgets the grace of GOD and his promise and starts enjoying this world.

Knowing that the world is perishable and the world's pleasure is also perishable, he still tries to find pleasure in it. The pleasure of the world neither gives him satisfaction but in turn, it causes disorder in him. Due to the disorders, he distances away from GOD. But when he attains the association of any saint, devotee or Holy Scripture, then he becomes distorted from worldly matters and worldly interest. When he starts getting the pleasure of devotion, the worldly interest becomes secondary to him. It is the principle that we can get momentary happiness in the world but eternal ecstasy lies only in the devotion of GOD.

When he gets the pleasure of devotion then the worldly pleasure does not attract him. The pleasure of devotion is so divine that by its effect worldly pleasure automatically becomes prosaic. Those eyes who view the divine form of GOD, do not like to view anything in this world. Those ears who listen to the qualities of GOD in narration or in the form of Satsang, then they do not like to listen to any worldly discussion of this world. The tongue which sings the praise of GOD then its interest in talking about the waste things of this world demolishes.

Therefore, the creature must not take any interest in this world and should undertake the devotion of GOD because the pleasure which is there in GOD’s devotion is incomparable and to even think to compare it with worldly pleasure is the biggest foolishness.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
  1. We must leave the worldly pursuits and undertake the devotion of GOD which will give us real ecstasy.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

We should break our senses from the worldly subjects from the root. As we cut the sprout of the tree from the top but keep feeding its root with water then the tree will not be destroyed. Because as soon as it finds water, the branches will come out from all four sides and the tree will increase. Therefore, we should remove the subjects of the senses from the root so that they can never disturb our senses again. Due to not accepting the supremacy of GOD, we do not contemplate GOD and the subjects are contemplated which is self-destructive.

After saying this, GOD tells us a very important thing. GOD says that by doing this if the seeker accepts the supremacy of GOD then only his welfare is assured. GOD means that when the seeker subdues the senses, then he becomes proud of his personal effort that he has detained his senses and subdued them. This pride fails that seeker and turns him away from GOD. If GOD feels something most unpleasant then it is the pride of the seeker. Therefore, the seeker should never take pride in his strength when he is restraining his senses but he should believe that it is only possible because of the grace of GOD.

The success in restraint of the senses is only achieved due to the grace of GOD. The creature can restrain his senses on his own power for some time but that is partial and is only for some time. Then the world and the velocity of the illusion will mislead him. The complete success comes only from the grace of GOD and upon surrender to GOD. Therefore, to avoid decline, there is a great need for accepting the supremacy of GOD.

Therefore, we should endeavor to earn GOD’s grace in life, due to which our senses get removed from the world and get concentrated on GOD. When this happens, it should not be considered as our own manhood but we should see the grace of GOD in it, then only the restraint of the senses will remain permanent. It is impossible to subdue the senses in total and forever without accepting the supremacy of GOD. The senses can only be subdued on the strength of the devotion of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

If we pamper our senses, behave according to what they say, then we will continue to be sad in the world. If our senses are not engaged in the service of GOD and are engaged in worldly fulfillment then they will deviate us. To save the senses from being misguided, the simplest and the right method is to concentrate them on GOD. By putting all the senses in the divine love of GOD, we can divert them from enjoying the world.

Just as enemies are suppressed by the superior army, in the same way, the suppressing of the senses can be done by putting them in the service of GOD. When our senses run towards the world then, in the end, they give us suffering because the world is a house of suffering. The senses can give momentary happiness when roaming in the world but its end will be in grief. Therefore, it is best to take our senses towards GOD. When all of our senses will be used in the service of GOD, then only we will experience the ecstasy from our senses.

Our senses can give us ecstasy and can also give us grief. We have to choose what we have to earn from them. If we allow our senses to roam in the world, then it will bring us grief and if we put them in the service of GOD, then it will give us the experience of ecstasy. There have been many saints and devotees who have put their senses in the service of GOD and have attained GOD in their lifetime. They kept their goal strong, that whatever may happen, they have to attain GOD in their human life and they did so successfully by keeping their senses focused on GOD.

The creature who does not employ his senses in the service of GOD, the possibility of falling down remains in his life. But if that creature puts his senses in the service of GOD, then he receives the full grace of GOD and attains GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

We should perform deeds for the happiness of GOD. Other deeds performed in this world, whether they are good or bad, bind us in the bondage of deed. But the deeds performed for GOD do not bind us in the bondage of deeds and keeps us free. The deed should not be performed only to satisfy the senses whereas they should be performed for the happiness and the satisfaction of GOD. By doing so we can escape from the bondage of deeds and we also receive the loving devotion of GOD. Shrimad Bhagavad Geetaji teaches us the art of divine attainment. GOD accepts the one who performs the deed of divine service of GOD and progresses on the same path.

We can be free from the bondage of deeds only when all our actions are performed for the service of GOD and not for ourselves. Unless the relationship with GOD is established through devotion, all the deeds are temporal. When our relationship with GOD is established then all our deeds are performed for GOD, and all our deeds become supernatural in this way. There is no material desire left for the devotee of GOD, therefore, they remain completely peaceful and experience peace and ecstasy. The devotee enjoys performing GOD’s service, so he does not have the desire to perform other deeds.

Our sole aim should be the happiness of GOD and nothing else. Everything can be used for the service of GOD and we should do so. We should engage our wishes in fulfilling the wish of GOD. The creatures should only be concerned with GOD who is all-auspicious and should not be concerned with the world. Therefore we should keep our wisdom engaged in GOD. It is a principle that the creature who is engaged in the devotion of GOD, all his desires and longings gets subdued automatically without any efforts.

Therefore the creature must dedicate himself to GOD after taking birth as a human and should undertake devotion of GOD and should perform every deed for GOD after surrendering it to GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

GOD is the origin of everyone. The body, ability, authority, knowledge, strength, etc., which has been given to man by GOD, is not for enjoying sensual pleasure but must be employed to serve GOD. Those who offer the food to GOD before eating, remain sinless. On the contrary, those who eat only for the pleasure of their senses, certainly eat the sins. The man has received the special intellect because of GOD’s grace which is not available to any other species. The man has also got the freedom to perform deeds so he should utilize this freedom and by using his intellect he should perform all his deeds for the service of GOD.

It is very necessary to sacrifice worldly wishes and desires of the senses to enjoy worldly pleasures. In fact, human birth is the first and last birth of all births. If the creature attains GOD in human birth then it is his last birth. But if he is not able to do so then it will be the starting of his endless births because the cycle of 8.4 million births starts from here. Therefore the human species is known as the salvation species. We can achieve GOD in this human species and get rid of the cycle of rebirth forever.

Therefore whatever we have to do in human life should be done for GOD. Deeds performed for sensual pleasure put us into bondage. Deeds performed for GOD makes us free. Therefore, the devotee puts GOD forward and offers each and every smallest deed to GOD before doing it. Devotee cooks the food only for GOD and eats it as a Prasad after offering it to GOD.

The man should perform all his deeds for GOD and by offering it to GOD, then only he can remain free from the bondage of deed and from sins.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Arjunji.

We have got this human body only for unification with GOD. We have not got this human body for enjoying sensual pleasure. GOD has despised the ideology of taking sensual pleasure in the world. Unification with GOD is not possible in any other species other than the human species. In the human species also among all the means the best and the easiest means for seeking an audience with GOD is devotion. The devotee who has got an audience with GOD becomes unconcerned and becomes completely satisfied. The creature full of worldly desires is always unhappy.

The devotee who has got an audience with GOD achieves the contiguity of GOD and always experiences ecstasy. His whole life becomes Godly. GOD becomes his everything and he starts living his life only for GOD. He becomes free from the duties of the world forever. Those who become of GOD, this world cannot bring them to bondage again. The devotee who has got an audience with GOD does not take any interest in worldly activities and the temptation of the world never distracts him. For those who become of GOD, nothing is left in this world for them to do.

The behavior and thoughts of the devotees and saints who have attained an audience with GOD are very different from the other worldly creatures. The devotees and saints who had an audience with GOD receive so much satisfaction, which the other worldly creatures cannot even imagine. The complete duty of devotees and saints who have attained an audience with GOD is only for GOD and for the world there is no duty left for them. Though they live in this world but their entire life is Godly. They have no resemblance and have no interest in worldly ups and downs.

Unification with GOD should be the ultimate goal of life. Unification with GOD is possible only and only in human life. There is no bigger achievement than this, after taking human birth. Actually, there is no other purpose of human life other than achieving GOD through unification with GOD. The need is to recognize this purpose and to fulfill it.

  1. Realization of GOD and having unification with GOD should be the foremost aim of human life.
