TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Preaching given by Shri Vidurji to Dhritrashtra in which interpretation of a superior man is found.

After following the self-duty up to a certain age, one who becomes detached and considers the world as a home of sorrow and leaves it and holds GOD in his heart by entering the Sanyas Ashram (an age for renunciation), is known as the superior man.

Before reaching the end of life, to be of GOD and to dedicate ourselves to GOD should be the aim of human life. But it will not be possible suddenly in the end, such practice should be started from the mid-stage of life.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
  1. The ultimate aim of human life should be to dedicate ourselves to GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When Dhritrashtra, Gandhari and Shri Vidurji left home for hermit and not finding them Dharmraj Shri Yudhishthirji was saddened due to it, then Devarshi GOD Shri Naradji said the above words.

The point to be noted here is that we should not grieve on being separated from anyone, whether by death or any other reason because the whole world is under the control of GOD and the separation and union happen as per His wish.

Secondly, the entire universe and their ombudsman obey the order of GOD and perform their task accordingly. The entire universe is bound by the order of GOD and follows His orders.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
  1. The separation and union of all creatures happen as per GOD’s wish and therefore the wise men do not grieve upon separation.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Devarshi GOD Shri Naradji’s teachings to Dharmraj Shri Yudhishthirji.

Inside and outside of every creature there is only self-illuminative GOD. The second meaning is that there is nothing in the world except GOD. GOD is the soul of all soul bearers. That is why all the saints realized this truth and Goswami Shri Tulsidasji wrote in Shri Ramcharitmanasji that he sees this whole world as Shree Ram-may (full of GOD).

GOD’s illusion manifests the world in many forms and colours. Therefore, when saints removed the layer of illusion, they saw only GOD and GOD.

This fact is important to understand that other than GOD there is nothing, only then we will be able to generate true love for GOD.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Words said by Dharmraj Shri Yudhishthirji to his brother Shri Bheemsenji.

Pandavas acquired their entire wealth and empire due to the grace of GOD and guidance of GOD. GOD saved the honor of Bhagwati Draupadiji. GOD protected the Pandavas in Lakshagrah (palace made of wax) and in other places. GOD protected the family and children of Pandavas when He protected Shri Parikshitji from Brahmastra by entering the womb of his mother. Pandava's victory over their rivals was only possible due to the presence of GOD. Pandavas performed the auspicious deeds under the guidance of GOD as a result of which they acquired the right to enter heaven and other similar places.

Dharmraj Shri Yudhishthirji believes that all the above things were only possible due to the grace of GOD. Whatever positive happens in our life should be considered as the result of GOD's grace.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Shri Arjunji said the above words when GOD Shree Krishnaji rested His Holy pastimes and went back to His dwelling. Shri Arjunji felt deceived in the seperation of GOD.

Because Shri Arjunji’s mighty power was due to GOD. He recalls each and every incident of his life and sees the GOD’s grace in them. He had won the swayamvar (an ancient process to select the groom) of Bhagwati Draupadiji by the majesty of GOD. After being trapped in a fire in the Khandav forest he was saved by GOD who swallowed the fire. GOD saved the honor of Bhagwati Draupadiji and punished the Kauravas for their humiliation by their defeat on the battlefield. GOD protected Pandavas from the anger of sage Shri Durvasaji just by eating a leaf. By the grace of GOD, Shri Arjunji received many weapons from the Deities. Only because of GOD’s grace Shri Arjunji went to heaven in the human body and received the honor of sitting with Devraj Shri Indradevji in half of his throne.

Shri Arjunji relates all the events of his life by visualizing the grace of GOD in it. We should also develop such a sight which is able to see GOD’s grace in every positive event of our life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Shri Arjunji remembers GOD’s grace after GOD rested His pastimes in Shree Krishna incarnation and went back to His dwelling.

In the army of Kauravas, there were supreme fighters like Shri Bhishma Pitamah, Guru Dronacharyaji, Karna, Shalya, Bhurishrava, Susharma and Jayadratha. Shri Arjunji says that GOD while sitting in his chariot as a charioteer snatched the age, wisdom, enthusiasm and strength of Kaurava fighters just by His mere sight. Those fighters fired such weapons on Shri Arjunji that were never destined to fail but because of GOD’s influence, those weapons did not even touch Shri Arjunji.

There was a vast ocean of Kaurava fighters, but sitting on the chariot of GOD’s grace Shri Arjunji crossed it with great ease.

We can also perform the biggest work smoothly by earning the grace of GOD in life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - While returning from Shri Dwarkaji ordinary people defeated Shri Arjunji on the route like a helpless female.

At that time GOD had rested the Holy pastime of Shree Krishna incarnation and had returned to His dwelling. When Shri Arjunji was defeated by the ordinary people he came to know that his power, gallantry and courage were only and only because of GOD. As GOD returned to His dwelling Shri Arjunji lost his power, gallantry and courage. The same Gandiva bow, same arrows, same chariot, same horses and same Arjunji himself, against whom even big fighters bowed in a moment, have now become void and therefore he had to bow down before ordinary people.

If there is any extraordoinary talent inside us then we should treat it as a divine gift and must consider it as a blessing of GOD and should not be proud that we have acquired that talent.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - One of my favorite verse stating the glory of devotion.

There are two indications here in the context of devotion. First, that devotion is increased by the contemplation of GOD. The more time we devote in contemplation of GOD, our devotion gets strengthened. Therefore, we should increase the time for contemplating GOD in our life.

Second, the more devotion is awakened within us, the more our vices come out. It is a unique principle that as soon as we develop devotion within us, the evils within us become weak and are finally destroyed. Devotion basically leads us closer to GOD and to make us eligible, it destroys our vices. One of the criteria to measure how strong our devotion has become is, by evaluating how many vices within us are destroyed.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
  1. The time we spend in contemplation of GOD makes our devotion stronger.
  2. As devotion is awakened in us, it destroys our evils and disorders that we may have.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Here we find rendition of the fact that freedom from rebirth comes through devotion.

From the cycle of 8.4 million births and rebirths, the only simple means to give us salvation is the devotion of GOD. This fact is corroborated here through Bhagwati Kuntiji. The life of Bhagwati Kuntiji was filled with the devotion of GOD and because of it she attained supreme state after leaving her human body and she was also absolved from the cycle of rebirths forever.

Devotion is such a simple means but its capability is so immense.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - An inspirational verse that shows us the right path.

It must not be considered that we have got everything even after attaining all the material benefits of life. Still, one ultimate manhood remains which is devotion of GOD.

Pandavas achieved such a huge empire, so many worldly pleasures that we cannot even imagine in today's era. By the grace of GOD, they received the empire of the entire earth, immense wealth, majesty and grandeur and compatibility of family relationships. No material benefits were left for them to attain in their life. Even in such a situation, they found their ultimate manhood in devoting their heart to GOD.

There are many manhood in this world but the ultimate manhood defined by the Scriptures is to dedicate ourselves to GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Sage Shri Shaunakji said the above words to Shri Sootji while listening to the Holy pastimes of GOD.

Sage Shri Shaunakji only wanted to listen to the pastimes of GOD because he knew that other things are meaningless from which no benefit is derived. By indulging in it we only waste our age. The sages and devotees hold this attitude and therefore they do not engage in worldly talks and only want to speak and listen about GOD so that their hearing and their speech can become pure.

But ordinary people mostly waste their full human life watching, listening and speaking useless things.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A verse which takes a dig at the voluptuary creature and also stating the purpose of human life.

Human life is not for running after the voluptuary things. Man can never be satisfied by enjoying the voluptuary desires and he continues to do so throughout his life. He is continuously engaged in the cycle of voluptuary desires. Such creatures are referred to as "Mand bhagya" (ill starred) and their acts are considered as life-wasting works.

Remembrance, contemplation and worship of GOD by abandoning the voluptuary desires has been considered to be a true purpose of human life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When King Shri Parikshitji went on Digvijay (an ancient practice in which kings went out with troops around the surrounding counties and states to include them in their kingdom by winning them by power or surrender) he heard the great fame of his ancestor Pandavas everywhere in the countries he went to.

The great fame of the Pandavas was only due to GOD. Pandavas received the glory only because of GOD and because of this known fact there was discussion of GOD’s grace on the Pandavas everywhere. Pandavas devotion towards GOD was also a point of discussion everywhere.

Each and every glory earned by Pandavas was distinctly imprinted by GOD’s grace. There was absolute grace of GOD on Pandavas and King Shri Parikshitji was aware of this fact so he was very pleased to hear it everywhere and tears of joy rolled out from his eyes.

Pandavas earned GOD’s grace in their entire lifespan and its result was that GOD bowed the whole world at the feet of Pandavas. Those who had enmity with Pandavas were destroyed. TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD incarnates on earth to remove the unrighteousness. This is one of the reasons for GOD’s incarnation.

The second reason which is the biggest one is that after incarnation GOD performs beautiful Holy pastimes. These Holy pastimes are sung and heard for ages. This flow of singing and hearing Holy pastimes lead to the attainment of salvation.

Therefore, we should also listen to these auspicious and pleasant Holy pastimes of GOD. This is an excellent means of attaining salvation, which we often ignore.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse is very dear to me because before this verse a list of many qualities is given and GOD is considered to be the shelter of all these qualities.

These qualities are as follows - Truth, Purity, Mercy, Forgiveness, Sacrifice, Contentment, Simplicity, Calmness, Stamina, Meditation, Parity, Tolerance, Dispassion, Scripture thought, Knowledge, Reclusion, Grandeur, Bravery, Glow, Power, Memory, Independence, Skills, Shine, Patience, Softness, Fearlessness, Humility, Modesty, Courage, Excitement, Luck, Seriousness, Stability, Deism, Fame and Dignity.

All the above qualities find shelter in GOD so when we reach closer to GOD by the means of devotion, then these qualities automatically settle inside us. It is the result of the contiguity of GOD that seeds of these qualities automatically start sprouting inside us.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Dharma (Religion) introduced Mother Earth in cow form to King Shri Parikshitji and said the above words.

Here two things are worth noting. First of all, GOD has taken the responsibility of unloading the burden of Mother Earth. Its rendition is also found in Shrimad Bhagavad Geetaji in GOD’s divine words.

Secondly, due to GOD’s incarnation on earth and by the footprint of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD due to His holy movement, the Earth becomes lively and privileged. Shri Brij Mandal (the area where GOD performed Holy pastimes in His ShreeKrishna incarnation) is a living example of this which is a most revered and sacred place because it is privileged with the dust of GOD’s Divine Lotus Feet.

All the Holy pastime places of GOD on earth are supremely revered and sacred. They should always have a special place in our hearts.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The fear of death is great and it affects everyone. Everyone is afraid of life near the end.

But a devotee of GOD who is fully devoted to GOD, even the dreaded fear of death cannot frighten him. Because he knows very well that he has received GOD’s contiguity in his lifetime so even after his death GOD will be with him. This was the only reason that King Shri Parikshitji was not perplexed to lose his life due to the bite of Takshak (snake).

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The attachment in the final stage of life does not allow us to be free and becomes the reason for our rebirth.

Man remains entangled in attachment throughout his life and gets confused due to the attachment trap. At the end of his life, he should be free from attachment, then only his welfare will be possible but it does not happen and attachment traps him till his end.

One of the best ways to get rid of attachment with the world is to love and remember GOD. This is only possible by hearing the nectar-like Holy pastimes of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Whenever the devotees of GOD meet, they discuss the Divine qualities and Holy pastimes of GOD. The true meaning of Satsang (Religious discourse) is the association with Truth i.e. GOD who is the only truth.

The glory of Satsang is greater than heaven and salvation. It has no comparison with the trivial pleasures of human life.

This fact is rendered in the immortal verse of Shri RamCharitManasji where it is said that on one side of the balance scale, the luxury of heaven (human luxury is considered too small to be counted here) and on the other side if we keep Satsang of a mere second then also Satsang side will be heavier.

An ordinary man is very eager to take revenge for insult, fraud and insinuation committed against him. His tolerance is very less. He is quickly distracted by circumstances and reacts.

But the tolerance of a devotee is immense. He never even thinks of taking revenge with anyone. His mind is steady. He has complete faith in his GOD. He has risen above any respect or insult meted out to him.
