TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

It was decided that as an afore worship in the Rajsuya Yagna of Pandavas worship of GOD should be done. Everyone supported it in one voice. Dharmraj Shri Yudhishtirji worshiped GOD with great joy and love. Dharmraj Shri Yudhishtirji washed the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD along with his wife, brothers, ministers and family members and put the cleansing water on his head. At that time the eyes of Pandavas were filled with tears of happiness and love in such a manner that even they were not able to view GOD at that time. Everyone present there in the council started hailing GOD and flowers began to rain on GOD from the sky.

By doing the afore worship of GOD Pandavas expressed their immense faith in GOD in front of the entire world.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

Wicked Shishupal condemned the afore worship of GOD and used wrong words for GOD. Listening to the wrong words about GOD everyone challenged Shishupal to fight because after hearing the wrong words about GOD those who do not oppose it, all their noble deeds are destroyed and they get degraded. But GOD calmed everyone and kept silent till the hundredth sins of Shishupal. On completion of hundred sins of Shishupal, GOD beheaded him by His Shri Sudarshan Chakra (Divine weapon of GOD). In front of all, a flame came out of the body of Shishupal and subsided in GOD. Even with hostile sentiments, Shishupal meditated GOD and therefore received salvation because only sentiments are important for our fate upon death.

GOD is so kind and merciful that He even provides salvation to those who remember Him because of enmity.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

In this verse the greatness of Bhagwati Ganga Mata is described. After performing the Rajsuya Yagna, King Shri Yudhishthirji took bath in Shri Gangaji and after him, people of all types and tribes bathed in Shri Gangaji. After taking bath in Shri Gangaji even great sinners also become free from their sins immediately. Bhagwati Ganga Mata has emerged from the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, therefore, She has an enormous power to destroy sins. Whoever takes a bath in Shri Gangaji with a pure heart and with repentance for sins committed and by remembering Bhagwati Ganga Mata as Mother and takes the shelter of Mata, he becomes free from sins forever. His all previous sins are destroyed forever. The glory of Bhagwati Ganga Mata is unparalleled.

Therefore, we should always keep a motherly wisdom in Bhagwati Shri Gangaji.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

After completion of Rajsuya Yagna and after being felicitated, everyone took the permission from King Shri Yudhishthirji and went back to their home places. But when the time came for GOD to leave for Shri Dwarkapuri then Shri Yudhishthirji stopped GOD because he trembled by the very thought of separation from GOD. After the union with GOD separation is intolerable for devotees because it gives a lot of pain. Shri Yudhishthirji just trembled with this imagination. Understanding the feelings of the heart of Shri Yudhishthirji, GOD stayed there for some time to fulfill his wish and to give him ecstasy.

If sentiments are there then GOD definitely fulfills the wish of His devotees.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

GOD Shri Shukdevji says that King Shri Yudhishthir’s aspiration of Rajsuya Yagna and winning the world was like an ocean that was very difficult to cross but because of GOD’s grace, he easily crossed it. Due to the grace of GOD, all his wishes were fulfilled and all his concerns were taken care of. From this episode, it is proved that any event of life would turn successful if we keep GOD ahead. It is the principle that we can achieve complete success by giving the reins of our life to GOD.

Therefore, the creature should always keep GOD in front in his life, then he will certainly get success.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

Great sages and saints serve the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD so that they get knowledge of spiritual science. By this their ignorance disappears because of the awakening of their self-wisdom. When this happens, they get the eternal bliss of the soul. The worldly creature wants worldly wealth and he tries for it. The worldly creature also demands worldly wealth from GOD. But the sages and saints seek eternal relation of the soul from GOD. The wealth of the soul is much bigger than the wealth of this world. Those who are engaged in the wealth of the soul they consider the worldly wealth as insignificant.

The creature should also desire the self-related wealth from GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Shri Parikshitji said the above words to GOD Shri Shukdevji.

King Shri Parikshitji says that GOD’s Holy pastimes filled with melody and grandeur are infinite. In such a situation, who would be a fan who would not want to repeatedly listen to the blissful Holy pastimes of pure glory of GOD. No devotee can ever be alienated from the GOD’s blissful narration. Whenever an ardent devotee listens to the Holy pastimes and narration of GOD repeatedly, new meanings are revealed to him and he gets even more pleasure in listening to it. Therefore sages, saints and devotees continuously listen to the Holy pastimes and narration of GOD. There is no better way than this to get rid of sins.

Therefore, a creature must daily listen to the Holy pastimes and narration of GOD and make himself pure by doing so.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Shri Parikshitji said the above words to GOD Shri Shukdevji.

It is one of my favorite verses because devotion is rendered in it. Only that voice is the true voice that sings the glory of GOD. Therefore, we should not engage our voice in vain worldly discussions and should engage it in singing the glory of GOD. Only those hands are true hands that work to serve GOD. We work with our hands for worldly matters but forget to serve GOD from our hands. Only that mind is a true mind which remembers GOD who resides in every creature. Our mind remembers the world and hence it remains sad. Only those ears deserve to be called ears which listen to the virtuous narrations of GOD. Our ears listen to the vain worldly discussions but forget to listen to the glory of GOD.

Therefore, a creature should engage every part of his body in serving GOD only then his birth as a human will be successful.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Shri Parikshitji said the above words to GOD Shri Shukdevji.

King Shri Parikshitji says that only that head is a head which always bows, again and again, to greet GOD after visualizing Him everywhere. Only those eyes are the eyes that visualize GOD everywhere. Saints have even said that those eyes which do not visualize GOD are the fake eyes like the eyes that appear in the feathers of a peacock. Only that part of the body is really the part which receives the pride to serve GOD. Those parts of the body which are not engaged in GOD’s service, those parts are useless.

Our head should always bow to GOD, our eyes should always visualize the idol of GOD and all parts of our body should always be dedicated to GOD’s service only then we should consider that our human life is successful.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The above words were said to GOD’s dear devotee and friend Shri Sudamaji by his wife Bhagwati Sushilaji.

GOD is like Kalpataru for His devotees who fulfill all their wishes. GOD loves His refugees like a father. GOD is the only shelter for saints and noble persons. GOD is so kind that those who take His shelter and remembers His Divine Lotus Feet in their heart, GOD gives even His own donation to such devotees. GOD is the foremost among all the donors and to His devotees, He donates Himself. If the devotion is selfless like that of Shri Sudamaji then GOD dedicates Himself to such devotees.

Therefore, a creature must undertake selfless devotion of GOD and should always seek only GOD from GOD.

When GOD saw that Shri Sudamaji had come then He instantly stood up and by great respect and love, He hugged him. GOD was very happy and from His gentle eyes, tears of love started flowing. GOD offered the bed of His palace to Shri Sudamaji and Himself brought the material for worship and worshipped him. GOD washed his feet with great joy and performed his aarti. Seeing GOD serving Shri Sudamaji, Bhagwati Rukmini Mata also started serving him with chavar (handmade air blower). TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Sudamaji.

GOD says that He is the soul of all creatures. GOD says that He resides in the heart of everyone in the form of a visionary. GOD resides in all the creatures in the form of a visionary. Therefore no creature can hide anything from GOD. Whatever we think and do by our heart, words and deeds is being observed by GOD as a visionary. Therefore a creature should never think or do anything bad. Those who are the devotees of GOD receive the instructions of GOD in the form of the voice of conscience. As much as our devotion will prevail, the voice of visionary GOD will be heard even more clearly.

The devotee is always cautious and does not do any such work, so as to give pain to the visionary GOD.

GOD says that when His loving devotees offer Him something in very small amount, GOD considers it as very big. But when a non-devotee offers a lot of things to GOD then too GOD is not satisfied with them. There is no importance of things offered to GOD but the feeling behind the offering is most important. GOD says that loving devotees who offer fruits, flowers or leaves or water to Him by feeling then GOD not only accept them but immediately consumes them.

Therefore, a creature should serve and worship GOD by the primacy of feeling only then GOD will accept the offerings made by him.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Shri Sudamaji.

When GOD asked Shri Sudamaji that what he had brought for Him, then Shri Sudamaji hesitantly lowered his head and in shame did not give the four fists beaten paddy to GOD which he had brought. GOD knows each and every resolution of the hearts of all creatures. GOD knew that Shri Sudamaji is thinking that in the palace of gold city Shri Dwarkapuri if he will give four fists beaten paddy brought as a gift to GOD, then it will harm the honor of GOD because people will make fun that what thing a devotee has brought for GOD. But GOD took away the beaten paddy tied in a bag and said that this beaten paddy is not only enough to satisfy GOD but the entire world. GOD decided that in exchange of that beaten paddy He will give so much wealth to Shri Sudamaji, which is very rare even for the Deities.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The above thoughts came to Shri Sudamaji's mind while returning from Shri Dwarkapuri.

Shri Sudamaji thought that GOD is the only one capable of giving heaven, salvation, the wealth of the entire world and the accomplishments of yoga. Shri Sudamaji thought that the most merciful GOD did not give him anything by thinking that this poor should not become agitated and must not forget GOD because of the wealth. Shri Sudamaji was a high-ranking selfless devotee of GOD, so he did consider it as the ultimate grace of GOD that GOD has not given him anything. There was no adverse feeling for GOD in his mind. He happily started walking towards his home. Saints interpret this context and say that this was his last test in which he completely succeeded.

How to undertake selfless devotion can be seen in the parable of Shri Sudamaji and it is worth learning.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The above thoughts came into the mind of Shri Sudamaji.

GOD did not give anything to Shri Sudamaji directly when he left Shri Dwarkapuri but when he reached his village then GOD did not leave anything in giving. GOD had given so much immense wealth to Shri Sudamaji that even the Deities could not get. No one could estimate his wealth. After watching this whatever thoughts came into the mind of Shri Sudamaji, two principles are rendered from that. The first is that GOD gives a lot but considers it as too little. Secondly, if the loving devotee of GOD does even a small thing for GOD, GOD considers it very big. See the mercy of GOD that whatever is given by Him to His devotee, He underestimates it and whatever is received from a devotee, He overestimates it.

That is why GOD is called as compassionate, merciful and kind.

GOD knows the defects of wealth and grandeur. GOD knows that the ego of wealth and grandeur of greatly rich people becomes a reason for their downfall. Therefore, if a true devotee demands wealth, kingdom or grandeur even by mistake then too GOD becomes harsh and does not give him those things. Just as a mother knows what is beneficial for her child, similarly, GOD knows what is beneficial for His true devotee. Just like a mother never gives sweet to her sick child which can lead to indigestion, similarly, GOD does not give wealth to His true devotees which can lead to ego. Because ego is the biggest obstacle in the union with GOD.

The first thing that has been said in this verse is that GOD is invincible means no one can conquer GOD. Even then GOD gets defeated by His devotee. GOD takes pride in being defeated by the devotee. In the context of the Mahabharata, GOD took a vow that I will not pick up arms. After listening to His promise His devotee BhishamPitamah also took a vow that I will force GOD to pick the arms. Since both the vows were opposite it was certain that one of them would be broken in the war. In order to keep the respect of His devotee GOD lifted the arms and broke His promise. The second thing which has been said in this verse is that GOD is not subordinate to anyone but yet due to the love, He comes under the one who serves Him.

What should be resolved in the pilgrimages can be seen here in this parable. After the solar eclipse occurred, Yaduvanshi came from Shri Dwarkapuri to Shri Kurukshetra pilgrimage. After taking bath, donating and doing virtue in pilgrimage they took a resolution that their loving devotion in the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD should continue. They considered GOD as their ideal and were devoted to GOD, therefore they took such resolution that their loving devotion in the Divine Lotus feet of GOD should continue. We should also take such resolution after going to pilgrimage and after performing all acts that our love should continuously increase in the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. GOD used to reside with the Yaduvanshis and King Shri Ugrasenji. Therefore, people used to appreciate their fate that they always viewed GOD which is very rare for others.
