TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Sage Shri Durvasaji.

GOD says that the only shelter for devotees is GOD. Devotees are dependent on GOD and consider GOD as their everything. Since devotees are completely dependent on GOD, GOD holds their entire responsibility. GOD says that I do not love myself neither my wife Bhagwati Laxmiji except my sage-natured devotees. Devotees are paramount for GOD. GOD does not give place to anyone before the devotees. Everyone’s place is after the devotees.

GOD reveals such a big glory about devotion here. Devotees are the life of GOD and GOD is the life of devotees. Therefore, a creature must try to please GOD by devotion and make his life successful after becoming the devotee of GOD.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Sage Shri Durvasaji.

GOD says that the devotees who leave their wife, son, home, Guru, life, wealth, this world and afterworld and come in the shelter of GOD, GOD never leaves them. True devotees are never attracted by this world, they only want to live under the shelter of GOD. GOD adopts such devotees and never leaves them. When we read the character of devotees then we are able to see this fact. Bhagawati Meera Bai and great devotee Shri Narsi Mehtaji left everything for GOD. GOD also adopted them and kept them forever under His shelter.

A creature must undertake the devotion of GOD and live in the shelter of GOD after detaching from this world.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Sage Shri Durvasaji.

GOD says that like a virtuous wife subdues her husband because of her fidelity towards her husband, similarly, devotees keep their hearts tied to GOD's love bond through devotion and bring GOD under their control. It is the glory of devotion that GOD can only be subdued by devotion. The supreme independent GOD can never be subdued by any other means. He can only be in the control of a devotee through devotion. The glory of devotion is so big that the supreme independent GOD also accepts the love bonding of a devotee.

Therefore, a creature must try to please GOD by devotion and make his human life successful.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Sage Shri Durvasaji.

GOD says that exclusive lover devotees of GOD consider themselves as blessed by their service to GOD. They are always ready for GOD’s service. As a result of GOD’s service, whatever offers they get for salvation, they also deny them. For devotees, only GOD’s service is paramount. After salvation, it is not possible to serve GOD, that is why devotees do not want salvation. Such devotees never expect perishable things of the world from GOD. Such devotees who renounce even salvation, for them anything in this world is automatically discarded.

For devotees GOD’s service is everything. They rejoice in it and consider themselves blessed for being appointed for the service of GOD.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD said the above words to Sage Shri Durvasaji.

GOD says that loving devotees of GOD are the heart of GOD and the heart of those loving devotees are GOD Himself. How much GOD loves His devotees and how much the devotees love GOD, this fact is rendered here. GOD further says that My devotees do not know anything other than Me (GOD) and I (GOD) also do not know anything other than My devotees. Here we can view the immense love of GOD and devotees. All other things other than devotees are secondary for GOD and for the devotee there is no other matter of discussion other than GOD.

The creature should love GOD so much that other than GOD there is nothing left in his life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD sent Sage Shri Durvasaji to King Shri Ambarishji for his protection. King Shri Ambarishji pleaded with Shri Sudarshan Chakra and finally, Sage Shri Durvasaji became free from the heat of Shri Sudarshan Chakra and Shri Sudarshan Chakra became calm.

After watching this Sage Shri Durvasaji said that today I have learned the importance of loving devotees of GOD. He said that only after listening to the blissful name of GOD a creature becomes serene so those who serve the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, no other duty remains for them. It should be considered that because of GOD’s devotion all the duties of a creature are fulfilled. For a devotee, no other worldly duties remain because he has risen above them.

Devotion of GOD is the only duty for the devotees of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Because of devotion, King Shri Ambarishji was full of several qualities. It is a principle that pious qualities automatically come and reside in those who have true devotion.

King Shri Ambarishji enriches his devotion of GOD by all his deeds. Our all deeds should be full of devotion and should enrich the devotion of GOD then only those deeds would be successful and significant. Because of the effect of devotion, King Shri Ambarishji considered all the pleasures upto Brahmalok as hell. When he refused the pleasure of Brahmalok then for him worldly pleasures were nothing.

A creature must make a true and successful effort to bring devotion in life by listening to the parable of such great devotees.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Sage Shri Saubhariji was a majestic sage but once after watching the merrymaking of a fish in the water he became excited. The desire for marriage arose in the mind of Sage Shri Saubhariji and he expressed his wish to marry the daughters of King Mandhata. By the strength of his tenacity, he became young from old age and he became so handsome that all fifty daughters of the king got fascinated by him and married him.

He started enjoying with with his wives and engaged all his senses in experiencing the desires. Then one day he felt guilty that he destroyed his divine splendor and he became very sad.

The person who has the desire to attain GOD or salvation, should leave the company of voluptuous creatures and turn his senses inward. He should live alone and should always keep his mind engaged in GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - After being pleased with the austerity done by King Shri Bhagirath, Bhagwati Ganga Mata (Holy river of India) became ready to descend on earth. GOD Shree Shivji who is the benefactor of the entire world held Bhagwati Ganga Mata on His head because, due to the connection with Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, the water of Bhagwati Ganga Mata was most sacred.

When the water of ShriGanga touched the ashes of the sons of King Sagar, they immediately achieved heaven. Even today those who daily consume the water of Bhagwati Ganga Mata, their welfare is certain. Because Bhagwati Ganga Mata has emerged from the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD therefore by merely contemplating Her with reverence, great sages become serene and achieve the contiguity of GOD.

Bhagwati Ganga Mata cuts the bondage of this world and leads to the salvation of the creatures.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Shri Khatwang was the emperor of the world and on request of Deities, he killed the demons. But when that mighty King came to know from Deities that his left over age is now of only a few moments then he engaged his mind in GOD.

The King got engaged in the spirit of GOD, the creator of this world and took the shelter of GOD after leaving all the desires. This is a matter to be learned from the parable of King Shri Khatwang that how GOD can be attained even in the last few moments. Those who can establish themselves in GOD at the last moment attain GOD.

But we have to try for it throughout our life so that in our last moment we can remember GOD then only our mind will not be distracted in any other activity and we will be able to concentrate on GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - In Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran character of greatest dignity, GOD Shree Ramji is described in very brief only. Detailed representation of the character of GOD Shree Ramji is found in Shri Ramayanji of Shri Valmikiji and Shri RamCharitManasji of Goswami Shri Tulsidasji.

After separation from Mother of the world, Bhagwati Sita Mata, GOD was wandering in the forest in search of Mother doing divine pastime. Then He met Shri Jatayuji who has put his life on hold only for the visualization of GOD. He had done the work of GOD, therefore, so despite being a vulture from the caste, GOD made him lie on His lap and blessed him with His visualization in his last moment and provided salvation. GOD performed his cremation like a son. All deed bondages of Shri Jatayuji were already destroyed because of serving GOD.

GOD is so merciful that He blessed and graced Shri Jatayuji, who is considered the lowest among birds, finding such an example is impossible elsewhere.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse tells to us that how big is the place of devotion in comparison to virtues in life. A creature performs various virtues in life and hence achieves heaven. Then due to his virtues, he receives the luxuries of heaven. But as soon as his virtues are finished after enjoying the luxuries he is dispelled from heaven. Then again he has to come into this world.

But on the other side those who undertake the devotion of GOD, attain GOD. If there is any deficiency in their devotion then in their next birth they get the opportunity to move forward from the same point from where they left. It means that devotion performed in previous birth never goes in vain. In his next life right from a young age, he starts walking on the path of devotion and finally attains GOD in that life. After attaining GOD he gets free from the cycle of rebirth on earth forever.

After enjoying the virtues in heaven, the creature has to again take birth in this world, but a devotee is free from the cycle of birth and death of this world forever.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
  1. By devotion, we can attain GOD and be free from the cycle of rebirth.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - By seeing the love between Shri Bharatlalji and GOD Shree Ramji, we can evaluate how much love is there between GOD and the devotees. Along with being brothers, there was one more relation between Shri Bharatlalji and GOD and that was of a devotee and GOD.

After the exile of GOD, Shri Bharatlalji abandoned the palace of Shri Ayodhyaji and started living in a hut in Nandigram near the bank of Shri Saryuji (Holy river of India). Since GOD used to eat roots and fruits in the forest, therefore, Shri Bharatlalji also abandoned royal food and started eating barley porridge cooked in cow urine. Since GOD used to wear valkal (cortex) clothes in exile, therefore, Shri Bharatlalji also started wearing valkal clothes and abandoned royal clothes. Since GOD used to sleep on the earth during exile, therefore, Shri Bharatlalji also dug a pit on the earth and started sleeping at a place below GOD and abandoned the royal bed of the palace.

Even after getting the throne for fourteen years, the abandonment of Shri Bharatlalji was so great that on the remembrance of his condition, the heart of the ultimate merciful GOD overflowed with emotions.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - How marvelous is the union of the devotee and GOD, this scene can be seen here.

When GOD returned back to Shri Ayodhyaji after the exile of fourteen years then Shri Bharatlalji went to receive GOD by placing those footpads on his head which GOD had given him in Shri Chitrakootji. Shri Bharatlalji’s heart became cheerful, tears welled from his eyes and he fell down at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. GOD held Shri Bharatlalji with both His hands and lifted him and hugged him for a long time. Tears started flowing from the eyes of GOD and Shri Bharatlalji was bathed from that tears water.

Under the control of love, GOD behaved in the same intimate manner with Shri Bharatlalji in the ShreeRam incarnation and with Shri Sudamaji in the ShreeKrishna incarnation. In both conditions, GOD did not say anything but GOD’s divine eyes said everything.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When GOD Shree Ramji accepted the throne and became a king at that time it was Tretayuga (second of the four ages) but it seemed as if it was the Satyuga (the first of the four ages, which is considered to be the best).

In the state of GOD such Ramrajya (kingdom) was established which is impossible to imagine. At that time the forest, river, mountains, ocean all became wish fulfillers like Kaamdhenu (one who fulfills all desires). In Ramrajya no one had mental anxiety nor physical disease. Old age, weakness, sorrow, grief, fear and exhaustion were not there even in a trace. GOD parented His people like a father and all people visualized GOD as their father. GOD conducted His duty by dignity and righteousness and gave the same teaching of dignity and righteousness to His people.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The importance of forgiveness is mentioned in every religion. In Sanatan (eternal) religion also forgiveness is considered as a great virtue. It is stated in this verse that GOD is always pleased with the one who forgives.

GOD Himself is a statue of forgiveness. The creature keeps on committing mistake after mistake but if he does true repentance, GOD immediately forgives him. If GOD does not forgive, then the creature cannot reach GOD because there are several faults of the creature. Similarly, GOD also expects that a creature should keep the spirit of forgiveness in his heart. GOD is soon pleased with the creature who keeps forgiveness in his heart.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Yayati took the youngness of his son Puru and enjoyed his desires. He had full power in senses and when he got the opportunity he enjoyed them.

In this manner, he engaged his mind with his senses and fulfilled his desires for one thousand years. But even then his senses were not satisfied by such pleasures. His senses wanted more pleasure and always remained dissatisfied. The parable of King Yayati states that how much we satisfy our senses, they will never be satisfied with pleasures. Our senses will continuously make efforts to get more and more pleasures. By fulfilling the desires we can never pacify our indulgence.

Therefore, we should detach our senses from pleasures and should engage them in GOD by devotion then only our senses will get the right direction.
