TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - We know the narration of an elephant named Shri Gajendraji and a crocodile by the name of Shri Gajendra Moksha. While Shri Gajendraji was playing in the water, a crocodile caught him then the elephant applied his full power but he was unable to escape. Even his fellow elephants and female elephants left him alone.

He was able to see his death and remembered that those who go in the shelter of GOD, GOD saves them. GOD is the provider of shelter to everyone, therefore, Shri Gajendraji took the shelter of GOD.

We should also take the shelter of GOD in times of calamity or without calamity as GOD is the only provider of shelter in this world.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Shri Gajendraji said the above words in praise of GOD.

GOD is there in all creatures in witness form. GOD is also there in the power form of all creatures. GOD is the root cause of all but GOD has no cause. As the ocean is the shelter of all the rivers and waterfalls, similarly, the ultimate signification of all the Shri Vedji and Scriptures is only GOD. All the Shri Vedji and Scriptures praise and laud GOD. GOD is Moksha Swaroop i.e. GOD is the one who provides salvation. All saints and devotees only take the shelter of GOD.

Therefore, a creature should also take the shelter of GOD. There is no other way to cross this worldly ocean other than taking shelter of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When Shri Gajendraji was caught by a crocodile then he was not able to free himself even after applying his full force, therefore, he praised and called GOD and took the shelter of GOD.

Like a merciful man frees an animal that is in bondage, similarly, the ultimate merciful GOD cuts all the bondages of those who seek His shelter. GOD is most compassionate and never delays in doing welfare of His devotees. GOD takes the entire responsibility of the creature who takes His shelter and works for the benefit of the creature.

The best solution is to remain in the shelter of GOD and therefore we must take the shelter of GOD without any delay.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Shri Gajendraji said the above words in praise of GOD.

GOD’s exclusive loving devotees always stay in the shelter of GOD. Such devotees never expect anything from GOD. Even such devotees never aspire salvation. They are immersed in the ocean of ecstasy by singing the divine and blissful Holy pastimes of GOD. A true devotee is selfless. The place of selfless devotion is so high that even salvation becomes insignificant in front of it. A true devotee finds so much joy in singing the Holy pastimes of GOD, in front of which all pleasures of this world fade away.

Therefore, a creature should undertake the devotion of GOD selflessly.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Shri Gajendraji said the above words in praise of GOD.

Those whose senses are not in control, such creatures cannot attain GOD. We live in this world and our senses are trapped in this world. Whatever visuals are shown to us by illusion, our senses are attracted towards them. Therefore our senses are engaged in this world. Until we will remove them from worldly activities and engage them in GOD through devotion it is not possible to attain GOD. When we will draw our senses from worldly activities and put them in GOD then only our human life will become successful.

GOD’s power is infinite. GOD is almighty and is capable of doing everything. GOD loves those creatures who surrender to Him means He loves and accepts those creatures who take His shelter.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When Shri Gajendraji called GOD then GOD came with great speed. Saints describe this context and say that Shri Gajendraji called GOD by the name “HARI”. On pronouncing the word “HA” GOD ran and before the pronunciation of the word “RI” GOD ended that crocodile with the help of Shri Sudarshan Chakra (Divine weapon of GOD) and freed Shri Gajendraji.

After being killed by the Holy hands of GOD that crocodile became curse-free. Previously he was a Gandharva and because of the curse became a crocodile. Now because of GOD’s grace, he was free. He started singing the glory of GOD.

In fact, GOD is the only one who is full of best of fame. Therefore, the divine qualities and pleasing Holy pastimes of GOD are worthy of being praised. Devotees sing the divine qualities and pleasing Holy pastimes and attain ecstasy.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji while narrating the former character of Shri Gajendraji to King Shri Parikshitji says that in previous birth Shri Gajendraji was a king of Dravid country. He was a great worshiper of GOD and he worshiped GOD by abandoning his kingdom and dressed as an ascetic. Due to the curse of Saint Shri Agastyaji, he got the next birth in elephant species.

But the effect of worship done by him in his previous birth was so much that even though he was an elephant but he still remembered GOD and in his end time in distress, he performed the divine praise of GOD.

Worship of GOD done in any birth never goes in vain and definitely helps us in time of need.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD has elaborated the importance of Shri Gajendra Moksha (salvation) prayer. Whenever there is distress in life, whoever recites the Shri Gajendra Moksha prayer with devotion and with full emotions, his distress is solved. After being pleased by the prayer performed by Shri Gajendraji, the all-pervading GOD said in front of everyone that whoever will pray to GOD with this Shri Gajendra Moksha prayer, GOD will gift a pure intellect to that creature at the time of his death.

At the time of death the intelligence is not pure so it wanders elsewhere. At the time of death if our intelligence is fixed in GOD then we can attain GOD.

Therefore, in the lifetime it is very beneficial to recite Shri Gajendra Moksha prayer because it protects us from all the distress during the lifetime and at the time of death our intellect is purified which helps us to remember GOD during death time.

GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

Only the one who has counted all the atoms of this world can describe the entire virtues of GOD. This means that it is not possible for anyone to count the atoms of this world because they are countless. Similarly, it is also not possible for anyone to count the virtues of GOD because even Shri Vedji cannot describe the virtues of GOD and becomes calm by saying “neti-neti” (a Sanskrit expression which means "infinite"). It is not possible for Scriptures, Deities, sages or saints to describe the virtues of GOD.

Therefore, a creature must sing and chant the divine qualities of GOD regularly in his life. This is an excellent means of devotion.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Shri Parikshitji said the above words to GOD Shri Shukdevji.

When King Shri Parikshitji got the curse of death after seven days then for his salvation GOD Shri Shukdevji came to describe the narration of Shrimad Bhagawatji. As GOD Shri Shukdevji began to describe the glory of devotee lover GOD, the heart of King Shri Parikshitji became more and more eager to listen to the glory of GOD. These are the signs of a true devotee that he is never satisfied by listening to the glory of GOD and he continuously wants to listen to the praise of GOD. There is a question in the introduction of Shrimad Bhagawatji that how long we should listen to the Holy pastimes of GOD and in response it has been said that we should listen to it lifelong.

Because the Holy pastimes of GOD provide us with so much ecstasy, therefore, we must continuously listen to the narration of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When the churning of the ocean started then everywhere only the powers of GOD were working. GOD has pressed Mandrachal mountain from the top and in the bottom has given the base to Mandrachal mountain by taking Shree Kachchhap (Tortoise) incarnation. GOD entered in the demons to increase their powers. Similarly, GOD entered in the Deities in order to increase their power. A snake named Vasuki was used as a rope and GOD entered in him in the form of sleep so that he remains in sleep and does not suffer from churning.

This parable states that each and every work is being operated by GOD by His powers. Whoever becomes the medium but the power which executes the work is of GOD only.

Therefore, we should never boast of our deeds and strengths because the power of GOD is in our every deed and strength.

During the churning of the ocean at first a fiery poison named Halahal came out and the demons and Deities became greatly distraught. That fiery poison started spreading everywhere, up and down in all directions and because of that, all aquatic and terrestrial creatures became greatly distraught. Then everyone went into the shelter of GOD Shree Shivji and started praying for protection. It is only GOD who protects the entire world from distress. GOD immediately relinquishes the pain of everyone who takes His shelter. TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - For the welfare of everyone GOD Shree Shivji, the life-giver of this world, pleasingly accepted the offer of drinking Halahal poison. GOD Shree Shivji is extremely kind. On this occasion, by drinking poison He gave new life to everyone and only by His power all creatures were able to survive. GOD Shree Shivji picked up the Halahal poison in His palm and then drank it.

The saints explain that since GOD resides in the heart of GOD Shree Shivji, therefore, He did not let the poison go till His heart so that GOD residing in heart should not suffer. GOD Shree Shivji gave place to that poison in His throat and hence His throat became blue and He got a new name “NeelKanth” (One whose throat is blue).

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD Shri Shukdevji said the above words to King Shri Parikshitji.

When the nectar came out during the churning of the ocean, then GOD took the Mohini incarnation and fascinated the demons and gave nectar to the Deities. Both Deities and demons worked together at the same time and at the same place to achieve nectar but there was a big difference in the result of that work. Deities easily got nectar as a result of their deed because they had taken the shelter of the holy dust particles attached to the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. But since demons were disinclined from GOD, therefore, even after doing hard work they were deprived of nectar.

It is an eternal principle that when we take the shelter of GOD and perform any work by dedicating it to GOD then we definitely get its auspicious result.
