TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The verse showing the effect of satsang (Religious discourse), austerity and devotion in sages and saints.
By getting the contiguity of GOD due to satsang, austerity and devotion, the sages and saints become so pure that they purify even the Holy Pilgrimages. Pilgrimages also feel proud when the sages and saints visit them.
The contiguity of GOD fills us with so much purity in our hearts, it makes us so pure which is not possible by any other means.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- Satsang of GOD and devotion purify us to the greatest extent.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Shri Parikshitji said the above words to Devarshi, Brahmarshis and Rajarshis in his last time.
It is worth noting that he expressed his desire to love GOD in his future births too. Our life is blessed only if we have love for GOD and have affection in the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD.
We love the world, which is wrong. By doing this, we are continuously trapped in attachment and illusion. Saints love only GOD. The Divine Lotus Feet of GOD are their ultimate shelter.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- We must love GOD more than anything else in our life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Shri Parikshitji asked two questions to Shri Vyasnandan GOD Shri Shukdevji. First, what a creature should do every time and second what should be done in the last stage of life.
GOD Shri Shukdevji replied the two questions in a single answer that the person should listen, sing and remember the Holy pastimes of Almighty GOD, who is the universal soul residing in everyone.
He said that a human spends his life in his work, the night is spent in sleeping or in company of women, the day is spent in earning money and in fulfilling the daily needs of his family. Even after passing of age and even after watching others death, he is not awakened.
Seeking the contiguity of GOD is an indicator of welfare for humans. Therefore, we should try to achieve the contiguity of GOD in our life.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- We should find time for GOD and should cherish the time spent in the company of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - It is believed that in the last time whatever expressions are in our conscience we get the same result. Therefore, the Holy Scriptures affirms that in the final stage of life, our mind should rest in GOD and the request to do such a remedy is found in the Scriptures.
This must be practiced compulsorily in the beginning or in the mid-stage of life, otherwise, it is very difficult all of a sudden to do so at the end time. So we should make a rule to remember and contemplate GOD continuously and regularly.
We should continuously increase time in our life for GOD so that in the last stage, a big part of the time is spent in remembering and contemplating GOD so that while leaving this body GOD’s remembrance may be retained in our mind and thus we get freedom from the cycle of rebirth forever.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- We should endeavor to remember GOD in the last stage of our life so that we attain salvation but for this to happen practice must be done from the early stage of life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse warns the misguided creatures from the purpose of human life.
We are often ignorant and inattentive towards the welfare means of our life. We do not make any effort in this direction. We are entangled in meaningless things. Our life is trapped in worldliness, fascination and illusion.
Our long life is thus wasted. We do not get any benefit from such age and such human life because human life is meant to set us free from rebirth and to attain salvation.
Intelligent persons give the highest importance to their welfare means in their life.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- We should engage ourselves in the welfare means of human life and not waste our human life in useless things.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The verse stating what should be our stage at the time of end of life i.e. in old age.
With the help of wisdom, we should remove our senses from desires. When this happens, our mind, which is full of desires, will become quiet. We should devote our calm mind to the auspicious form of GOD.
What a beautiful path has been shown here which we often ignore and make a major blunder in our last time.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- We should retrench ourselves from everything and devote ourselves to the remembrance of GOD during our last time.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse tells us that GOD must be the core of our contemplation and perception.
The basis of our perception is GOD and thus only GOD should be present in our perception. GOD is only worthy to be contemplated. Only GOD had been considered as the form for our perception.
We must contemplate any of the forms of GOD, contemplate any of the Divine organs of GOD. Except for GOD, nothing else is worth contemplating.
But in Kaliyug (present era), many new definitions of contemplation and perception have started appearing, which is wrong. People are being misled by making them perceive and contemplate other things. But the Holy Scriptures say that only GOD should be the core of our contemplation and perception and no one else.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse endorses two facts.
Firstly, that one should worship only GOD because He is the only form of truth, everything else is false. GOD is the treasure of ecstasy. GOD is the original source of ecstasy.
Secondly, one should not be attached to any entities or relations of the world. Such attachment leads to our downfall because attachment in worldly entities alienates us from GOD. As we move away from GOD, our downfall becomes certain.
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- GOD is the only source and provider of ecstasy.
- Attachment in worldly entities alienates us from GOD and leads to our downfall.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - In this world, the creature keeps wandering, dreaming and desiring for happiness. He wishes for happiness in all his actions. He has the desire of achieving happiness by each and every act.
But he does not get true happiness anywhere in this world influenced by Maya (illusion) because true happiness does not exist in this world. We try to locate happiness in the wrong place and wander throughout our lives.
True happiness lies in the devotion of GOD, in the companionship of GOD. Devotees have experienced that highest state of happiness and have given it the name of "Anand" (ecstasy) and "Paramanand" (divine elated ecstasy).
GIST FOR ALL RELIGIONS
- True happiness does not exist in this world, it exists only in the companionship of GOD.

Who would like to suffer miseries by falling into the worldly river, caused by their past deeds ? Only animals do this. Humans should only contemplate the auspicious GOD. Humans should control their senses from distraction and indulging in worldly pursuits, which is the cause of sorrow. He should make his human life successful by auspiciously contemplating GOD.
But as a result of deeds and indulgence in worldly pursuits, most people experience sorrow and trouble and thus waste their life in vain.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Only GOD is worthy to be meditated. We should regularly practice meditating on GOD’s divine body parts. Every divine body part of GOD is so soft and so supernatural that the seeker reaches near GOD while meditating on them. A unique love arises in his heart towards GOD and he is imbibed with devotion.
We should practice the meditation and contemplation of GOD in life by being concentrated.

Anything apart from GOD is discarded, therefore, Yogi person concentrates their meditation and contemplation only on GOD. They do not allow their mind to distract anywhere and assume that anything apart from GOD is to be renounced.
Anything apart from GOD is to be renounced, such perception is a very high state in life. We should try to reach this height in our life.

Only that means is worthwhile for a creature, who is engaged in worldly activities, which unfolds loving devotion towards GOD. Apart from this, no other way is considered to be beneficial for the soul in the Scriptures.
The path which takes us to GOD is only beneficial, this principle is rendered here. Loving devotion towards GOD must be the only aim of life.

The essence of the Shri Vedji and the opinion decided by GOD Shree Brahmaji by His wisdom is that the best religion is one that imbibes divine love for GOD in us.
The basic objective of all religions is love and devotion towards GOD. This is the essence of all religions. Religion is the means to connect us with GOD. Religion clears the path that leads us towards GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The verse stating about listening, chanting and remembrance of GOD. In this verse three things are worth noting.
The first thing "At all times", the second thing, "In all situations" and the third thing, "With all power". We should listen, chant and remember GOD "At all times". Along with daily activities and worldliness, one should keep remembering and chanting GOD's name. Saints have achieved such a situation that their internal chanting continues regardless of whatever activity they are doing from outside. The second thing, this must be "In all situations". It is wrong if we remember GOD in unfavorable conditions and forget Him in favorable times. This fact is rendered in a famous hymn - Whether you live in any country, or in any uniform or in any circumstances, whether you live in any era, or in any state or in any condition utter the name of GOD - ShreeRadha-Raman, ShreeRadha-Raman and ShreeRadha-Raman. The third thing is that this must be done "With all power". We definitely put our all energy in earning money but we hardly use it in listening, chanting and remembering GOD.
Those creatures who listens, chants and remember GOD at all times, in all situations and with all their powers such creatures get blessed in their lifetime and attain salvation upon death.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Hearing the narration of GOD gives us two benefits, this fact is rendered here.
The first benefit is that the toxic effect of desires is destroyed from our heart. Our heart is stuck in toxic desires. By listening to the narration of GOD, the toxic effect of desires is destroyed.
The second benefit is that listening to the narration of GOD enables our association in the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD.
We should contemplate this double benefit in our life and should make it a rule of listening to the nectar-like narration of GOD.

We should worship GOD with intense devotion for selflessness, for fulfillment of desires and for salvation. For all these three there is only one path and that is the path of devotion. The devotion must also be intensive, this fact is explained here.
Intensive devotion is the only means to achieve selfless manhood, fulfillment of desires and salvation.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This amazing verse tells the effect of Satsang (Holy discourse). We will not get such a beautiful explanation of what is the effect of Satsang at one place.
By Satsang, the rare spiritual knowledge is achieved which pacifies the surges of the worldly ocean. Because of Satsang, the heart becomes pure and feels ecstasy. Because of Satsang the attachment to desires of our senses also vanishes. Satsang leads us to the universally accepted path for salvation, which is the path of Bhaktiyog (devotion). Because of Satsang, we start loving GOD.
In the interpretation of Satsang, the explanation of Bhaktiyog is also hidden. It is a universally accepted fact that the only path that leads to salvation is the path of devotion.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - One of my favorite verses that warn us about destroying the life of a person who is in vain worldliness.
It is assumed that the time span of our life which is not spent in singing or listening to the virtues of GOD is totally wasted. It is because the time spent in singing or listening to the virtues of GOD only gives us fruit. It is considered to be real manhood. We do not get any benefit from the time spent in worldliness or in vain activities.
After performing our self-duties whatever time is left, we should devote that time in singing or listening to the virtues of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse that alerts us from indulging in vain worldliness because we waste most of our time in vain worldliness.
It is said in the verse that even after attaining human life we did not listen to the Holy pastime narration of GOD then such human life is like an animal life which is worse than that of a dog, pig and donkey.
Human life is best utilized by listening to the Holy pastime narration of GOD, by virtue of which exclusive devotion towards GOD awakens from inside. Whoever is not doing so is living an animal-like life, this is the opinion of the Holy Scriptures.
We waste so much time in vain worldliness and vain things, and which we do not even realize.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse which is also one of my favorite verses because its simile is unique.
Those ears which do not listen to the auspicious narration of GOD are like a burrow. As in the snake’s burrow, there is a hole, similarly, our ears also contain a hole, through which we hear. If we do not use our ears in hearing the Holy pastimes narration of GOD, then they are like the hole of the burrow because we did not use its listening power properly.
Similarly, if we do not take the auspicious name of GOD from our tongue and use it in vain talks then it is as futile as the tongue of a frog which utters vain noise.
What a perfect analysis with the help of an exact simile. We should purify our ears by listening to the Holy pastime narration of GOD and should purify our voice by uttering the auspicious name of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse that contains two satires.
The head which does not bow in front of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD is just a load on the body, no matter that how well equipped or superior it is. The head which does not bow to GOD has no importance.
Similarly, such hands which are not used to serve GOD even if they are adorned with the best ornaments are similar to the hand of a dead body.
We must develop such a habit that our head keeps bowing in front of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. We should adopt such practices in our life that our hands must serve GOD. Then only our welfare is possible, otherwise both these parts of our body are just a mere burden on the body and nothing else.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse that is dear to me because it satirizes two important body parts i.e. the eyes and legs.
Those eyes which do not see the things which are related to GOD and lead us to remember GOD like the idol of GOD, pastime place of GOD like a pilgrimage etc., those eyes are like the eyes which are embossed on the feather of a peacock, which cannot see and therefore are useless.
Those legs which are capable of walking but do not walk to the pastime place of GOD like a pilgrimage, do not go to the temples of GOD are like trees which are immovable by nature.
Our eyes see vain things, our legs run in vain, considering so we should immediately divert them toward GOD.
