GOD defines the senses of the soul as evil because they are never satisfied. GOD says that the creature who wants his self-welfare should never enjoy the pleasures of his senses. As much as we enjoy pleasures from the senses, the craving increases and our senses remain unsatisfied. The correct use of senses is to divert them towards GOD. When we divert our senses towards GOD then they automatically retreat from pleasures. There is no other way to divert our senses from the subjects. For example, the duty of our ears is to hear. But if they do not listen to the useless things of the world, and instead listen to the praises of GOD, then they will never be interested in the talks of the world.
The true achievement of human birth is that the creature puts all his senses in the service of GOD.

We hear a lot from our ears. But in reality, the only thing to hear is the narration of GOD’s Holy pastime. Other than the narration of GOD’s Holy pastime and the praise of GOD whatever we listen to is a waste. The one who starts getting interested in the narration of GOD’s Holy pastime and the praise of GOD will not be interested in waste worldly discussions. The person who listens to the narration of GOD’s Holy pastime and praise of GOD with a true heart, blesses himself. The second thing that has been said in the verse is that only GOD is the provider of love and salvation. Those who love GOD, GOD give them the gift of His supernatural love.
Therefore, the creature should love GOD so that his liberation from the worldly cycle becomes possible.

That Brahmin of Ujjain had a lot of money which was destroyed. Because of this, he became disinterested from the world and he dedicated his remaining life to GOD. The ultimate result of charity, observance of religion, rules, the study of Vedas, good deeds, celibacy, etc., is that our mind should be able to concentrate on GOD. Putting the mind in GOD is the greatest victory of the mind because it is the nature of mind that it enjoys the world and as soon as it gets a chance it runs towards the world. Therefore, the mind should be pulled away from the world and must be concentrated on GOD.
The creature who engages his mind in GOD, becomes very dear to GOD.

Here GOD tells us what kind of world people get from performing which deeds. Here GOD clearly states that only by devotion the creature can attain the supreme dwelling of GOD. Only devotion has the capability to ensure the supreme dwelling of GOD for the creature. By other means, a creature can attain other worlds but the supreme dwelling of GOD is only and only achievable through devotion. Therefore, after getting birth as a human, the creature should undertake devotion of GOD in his lifetime, so that he can get the contiguity of GOD in life and in the end, he can attain the supreme dwelling of GOD.
We should make a goal to reach the supreme dwelling of GOD in life and should try in this direction only.

Because of virtues only, the creature wants to come in the contiguity of GOD. GOD’s selfless devotion is the indicator of an increase in virtues. The creature should continuously undertake the devotion of GOD so that his virtues can increase. Increase in virtues diverts the creature towards GOD and blesses him. Virtues are the means to attain GOD.
Therefore, the creature should continuously try in this direction that there should be the primacy of virtues in life.

GOD says that when the person practices the religion and dedicates his deeds to GOD and performs his deeds with selflessness then that deed becomes a virtuous deed. We should take special care of the fact that our deeds should be righteous. Secondly, our every deed should be dedicated to GOD. We must be cautious that there should be no such deed in our life which we cannot dedicate to GOD. Thirdly, our every deed should be for the happiness of GOD and should be selfless. No selfishness should be linked to our actions.
GOD is pleased with the virtuous deeds performed by the creature, so the creature should always perform virtuous deeds.

On the strength of devotion, the creature becomes eligible for salvation. Devotion has the capability to make us attain salvation. The creature is born in innumerable species in the world and attains death. This cycle of birth and death continues. But after getting birth as a human being, the creature who undertakes devotion of GOD obtains salvation and becomes free from the cycle of rebirth for ever and ever.
Therefore, the person who desires to escape from the worldly cycle and desires salvation should undertake the devotion of GOD.

Therefore, the human body should never be wasted. This human body is most suitable for undertaking means of attaining GOD. No means is possible from another body in any other species. Therefore, GOD says that the intelligent creature should use the human body in undertaking the devotion of GOD.
The best use of this human body is to undertake devotion of GOD from this human body.

They should keep the primacy of Satogun in their life and should win over Rajogun and Tamogun. The thoughtful creature should control their senses and engage them in GOD. The best use of our senses is to serve GOD through them. The creature should undertake the devotion of GOD by keeping the primacy of Satogun and keeping his senses in control.
The creature who is engaged in the devotion of GOD attains GOD.

Therefore, the person who undertakes devotion of GOD with a true love after receiving the human body achieves the pleasure form GOD. The creature should make the proper use of the human body only to attain GOD. Whatever else we have acquired by acquiring the human body, it is secondary because after receiving the human body our main objective should be to attain GOD.
Therefore, the creatures should try to attain GOD in life through the means of devotion from this human body.

GOD is unmanifestly situated in our heart, but when GOD appears in our heart due to devotion, the subjects and the desires disappear from our heart. Then our heart is filled with supreme peace and we can always visualize the presence of GOD every time and everywhere in all.
The hidden GOD appears in our hearts by devotion and gives us ecstasy.

In this verse, GOD explains the importance of His narrations. GOD says that the narration of GOD is very beneficial for the creatures. Listening to the narration of GOD leads us to visualize the nature, influence, grandeur, mercy, kindness and compassion of GOD. When this happens, the natural love for GOD awakens within us. The awakened love for GOD leads us to the path of devotion that leads towards GOD. Those who listen to the narrations of GOD, all their sins and worldly distresses are destroyed. One who listens or sings the Holy pastime narration of GOD, he becomes of GOD and a unique loving devotion for GOD awakens inside his heart.
Therefore, the creature should make the rule of listening to the narration of GOD in life.

There is no greater achievement for a creature than achieving the devotion of GOD. Whatever the world gives us or whatever we earn in the world is secondary because the devotion of GOD is paramount. Getting the devotion of GOD is the biggest achievement in this world because the devotion of GOD leads us to attain GOD. Therefore, devotion is the highest achievement.
After getting the human birth, the creature should keep the paramount aim of achieving the devotion of GOD in his life.

There is a detailed legislation in the Scriptures for the worship of GOD for fulfilling desires. There is a big rule of rituals too. But GOD says that those who are selfless devotees of GOD, if they worship GOD even by their feeling then too GOD happily accepts it. The selfless devotees can please GOD by worshiping GOD in their heart. GOD is very accessible to selfless devotees and very quickly gets pleased with them. Selfless devotion is the paramount means. By selfless devotion, we can please and attain GOD very quickly.
Therefore, the creature must undertake selfless devotion of GOD and must please GOD.

GOD reveals the importance of reverence and devotion in this verse. GOD states this fact here that how easily He gets pleased with reverence and devotion. GOD says that when a devotee offers only water to GOD by keeping devotion in his heart then GOD accepts it with great love. On the other hand, if any non-devotee of GOD even offers a lot of material without any reverence, then GOD is not satisfied with it. A living example of this is that GOD ate the banana peel offered by Bhagwati Viduraniji and rejected Chhappan Bhog (fifty-six types of delicious food items) of Duryodhana because Bhagwati Viduraniji had an immense reverence for GOD which Duryodhana did not have at all.
Therefore, we should have immense reverence and devotion for GOD.

GOD says that we should sing the Holy pastime narration of GOD and should describe it in front of others. GOD says that one should enact the Holy pastime narration of GOD and should dance in ecstasy. One should listen to the Holy pastime narration of GOD himself and even narrate it to others also. GOD says that while living in this world we should forget the rags and quarrels of this world and should be engrossed in GOD.
By forgetting the distractions of the world, if we become engrossed in GOD, then only our life will be successful.

GOD says that we must praise and worship GOD by the psalms composed by sages, saints and devotees. By lauding GOD with psalms we praise GOD which leads to our ultimate welfare. We must pray to GOD that He should be pleased with us. When GOD gets pleased with any creature then that creature experiences bliss. We must pray to GOD that we achieve the grace of GOD. We must remain in GOD’s vision and GOD’s grace is always available to us, such efforts should always be made by the creature. We must greet GOD by completely lying on His feet. The more we bow down before GOD, the more we go on rising higher in the world.
Praising GOD, praying to GOD, receiving the grace of GOD and bowing down to GOD, are all part of devotion and one should adopt them in his life.

This is one of my favorite verses because here surrender is rendered. GOD says that the creature should bow his head in the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD and should pray to GOD to please rescue him from drowning in this worldly ocean. We must pray to GOD that in this worldly ocean death-form crocodile is following the creature and can catch the creature anytime. We must pray to GOD that the creature surrenders to GOD after being frightened by this adversity. No one else can protect the creature from this adversity, therefore, we should pray to GOD to protect us.
By taking refuge in GOD, we can be relaxed because GOD accepts our full responsibility.

Here GOD renders the selfless devotion. GOD says that those who worship and pray to GOD selflessly they achieve the devotion of GOD. When we remain selfless in our worship and prayer then GOD gives us the donation of devotion which is the biggest of all donations. There is no bigger donation than devotion which a creature can achieve. Donation of devotion is the biggest donation given by GOD but we can get it only when we remain selfless. When we are full of desires then GOD fulfills our wishes but when we remain selfless then GOD gives us the donation of devotion. GOD says that after getting the donation of devotion a creature can attain GOD by devotion.
Therefore, the creature should always keep the objective of achieving the selfless devotion of GOD in life.

The best way to overcome those disorders is to meditate on GOD with our heart and to chant the name of GOD with our speech. When we divert all our senses towards GOD then our disorders are destroyed. When all our senses are diverted towards GOD then devotion for GOD awakens inside us. As the devotion awakens inside us, our disorders start getting destroyed.
If we want to remove our disorders then we have to achieve the contiguity of GOD.

Therefore, the most meaningful use of the human body is that it should always be used only for the attainment of GOD. The human body is the best means provided by GOD to attain GOD. Therefore, the wise man should keep the attainment of GOD as the goal of his human body.
Even after getting the human body if we have not attained GOD then our birth as a human will go in vain.

Shri Uddhavji says that GOD gives everything to His dependents and exclusive surenderees. GOD gives everything whatever is possible to His surrendered devotees. GOD loves His surrendered devotees very much and sacrifices everything for them. It is a different matter that true surrendered devotees of GOD do not take anything from GOD. GOD gives the donation of Himself to such selfless surrendered devotees. Therefore, to accept the shelter of GOD is the biggest achievement of a creature. Upon accepting the shelter of GOD, GOD takes care of all the responsibilities of that creature.
Therefore, the creature should undergo a complete surrender to GOD and become relaxed in his life.

This verse is dear to me because a devotee's feeling is expressed here. Shri Uddhavji says to GOD that he not only worships the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD but he worships the Dust of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. His sense is that he does not have the eligibility to worship the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, so he worships the Dust of Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. The result of worshiping GOD or the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD is multiple times but even if we worship the Dust of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD then too we will be blessed. Then there is nothing in this world that remains unavailable to us.
Therefore, the creature should worship and devote himself to GOD to make his life blessed.

The devotee should keep this feeling while doing the deed that he is doing this deed for GOD and for pleasing GOD. The devotee should make a habit that while performing deeds he should have a remembrance of GOD. The creature cannot live without performing deeds in this world because every time some deeds are performed by him. In such a situation, if every deed is performed for GOD and by dedicating it to GOD and by remembering GOD then it becomes the best deed.
We should inculcate the practice of doing our every action for GOD.
